So, I'm sitting here not updating the website, talking to
generys about houps, and idly cruising fabrics.com.
I've found some fun, peri-oid fabrics! Which I can't afford! Let my window shopping do *someone* some good, please. It's certainly not doing me any. Could be used for visually pleasing, low-maintenance field garb, linens, mundanity covers, etc.
Rayon prints of intriguing designs:
Borders and Stripes (good for cutting into yards and yards of trimmings):1 2 3 (these next two you'd have to cut the giraffes off of)4 5 6
Neat allover aptterns: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Medallion patterns: 1 2 3
A chinese rayon brocade that would look cool cut into strips and used as trim
Silk organza with medallions (I don't know what I'd use it for yet, but I MUST HAVE SOME, sigh): 1 2 3 and with palmettes
Cotton prints:
Celtic stuff for the less authentically inclined - could be cut into strips or used as is for busy-looking garments (I want some for quilts and baby stuff)
Checky checks 1 2 could easily be cut into a checky trim
A small allover diamond pattern which is much better at full size
Some more "oid" allover patterns 1 2 3 4 5 6 78
Tiny motley loud, less so, and monochrome. Hmm... the Monochrome one might be good for making quilted, metal-ish play 'armor' for little guys.
Then, of course, we get to the Real Evil. Home Dec. I need to make things for home and camp. No, really, I DO.
Crewelwork in wool on linen. This is my favorite.
These ogee-pattern damasks 1 2 3
And these "ren" stripes 1 2 3
And I covet these for making paviliony stuff 1 2 3
And I NEED this, even if it's only enough for a pillow.
I want lots of money, so I can feed what is CLEARLY an addiction. I don't have space for what I have. Not having money only insulates me for so long. Why am I looking at MORE?
