official "not dead" message + baaaing

Not dead. Have been gaming, cooking, and cleaning. Made Brown Sugar Ham of Death and pumpkin pie (with an aminal fat -1/2 butter, 1/2 lard, in this case- crust. Animal fat is where it's at for pastry. can't be beat. Even the crust haters said it was good.). BSHoD was a hit as usual, and even the fruit garnishes didn't come home with us. I'm still sort-of tryptophaned out, and coffeeing myself so we can go get the car registered (we hope). No buying anything. But mostly due to fear of stampedes and lack of money. That and I have piles of kewl cwap I need to make into stuff and give AWAY to get it out of my house. More later.

Freelance Artist looking for work

This is me, begging for work. We're short of cash and the Hellidays are looming large. Doing work for pay seems a good solution.

<beg>I do lots of stuff, and I'll work cheaply (not TOO cheaply, but I've got to do what I've got to do). I do web design, traditional illustration (b/w pen and ink, grayscale inkwashes and color), digital illustration, print design, calligraphy, digital photoretouching and restoration, collage, traditional paste-up, logo design, icon design, and the list goes on. Need business cards? We can work something out. Know anyone who's hiring based on EXPERIENCE and TALENT rather than degrees? I'll telecommute, even, and short-term is ok.

I also do crafty stuff, but the rates for that are higher (it's harder to do that). Jacket painting (denim or leather), dolls, wirework jewelry from SCA period, sewing, etc.
