mmm. Coffee.
Aug. 4th, 2004 02:31 pmI must say that I love a good cup of coffee-bean squeezings. I'm appreciating one just now, in fact.
When I can't get Really Good coffee, I've been known to add things to the pot to make it more palatable, like a dash ofallspice, nutmeng, mace or cinnamon (though you have to watch this as it tends to clog filters), a tiny pinch of cloves, a small chunk of dark chocolate or a dash of powdered chocolate, a splash of vanilla, or a dash of cardamom.
Sometimes I'll sweeten it if I've spiced it heavily, very occasionally milk may figure into the equation. I'f I'm feeling fancy, I may fake up an espresso drink with hand-frothed milk, or concoct some sort of byzantine mocha.
I love my coffee.
